My Thoughts On How America Has Broken The Ten Commandments

Bible reference from Exodus 20 verses 1-17, New King James

1. "I am the Lord your God....You shall have no other gods before Me" - Worship of allah, Budda, Mohammad, Satan and self. Praising movie stars, rock stars, Presidents, money.
2. You shall not make for yourself a carved image - Statues, pictures, symbols, etc. (Used for worship)
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain - profanity, jokes, phrases, idle talk.
4. Remember the Sabbath - Drop in church attendance, businesses open 7 days a week, causing employees to work longer hours and more days. Over scheduling of time, leading to lack of proper rest, relaxation, and spiritual renewal.
5. Honor your father and mother - Loss of respect and trust, increased violence toward parents, systematic removal of parental rights, crime against the elderly.
6. You shall not murder - Abortion, gangs, serial killings, assassinations.
7. You shall not commit adultery - Extra marital affairs, pornography, prostitution, sexually explicit advertising.
8. You shall not steal - Auto theft, burglary, embezzlement, money laundering, bribery, corruption in businesses, government, community organizations, voter fraud, tax evasion.
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor - Slander, gossip, celebrity newspaper rags, countries blaming other countries for the woes of the world.
10. You shall not covet - This list could go on forever! Spread the wealth, communism, monopolies, punishing high achievers, stealing. That's just a few.
